Throw back to the predecessors

This is just a quick throwback to a couple vehicles that are special to those into the new Z5 and Supra. Back in the 90's there was just nothing like the MKIV Supra (even MKIII) then a decade later BMW came out with the Z4M... which to me was just as nice as a Supra, but done in BMW's way:

Nah, the Z4M Coupe looks better to me but I wouldn't know which one drives and handles better until someone does a comparison.

I think they attract two different types of buyers. The Supra is about the car, but the Z4 is a little bit more about the badge. Some people don't care if it says BMW on the front.

AS long as the Z4 performs just as good as the Supre then I don't think people will take too much notice of the badge. If it's basically a supra with an updated skin then I can see the appeal.

Someone who wants a supra will only want a supra, no one buys a 20 year old car like that without a burning need for it and there are very good reasons for wanting a supra.

Why not a Z4M if it's just as nice as a supra? What's so special about the Supra and do you think it'll be added to the Z5?

Because it was one of the last sports cars with the sport of performance it has and the simplicity, plus that 2JZ engine it has is like nothing else.

Holy cow, just read the specs for the 2JZ-GTE engine and it's capable of 2,000 hp? How do I get my hands on one and will it make an appearance in the Z5?
